Privacy Policy

Videos you upload

When you upload a video, we store it temporarily to make your clips. Its audio is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for transcription, and the transcript is used by an AI model to pick highlights. We do not use your videos or transcripts to train models.

• The original upload is deleted as soon as processing finishes (and in any case within 24 hours).
• Generated clips are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
• Anyone with the link to your results page can view your clips until they are deleted, so only share it with people you trust.

To limit abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to enforce the daily free limit, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots.

Only upload videos you own or have permission to use.

Waitlist

If you joined our early-access waitlist, we store:

• your email address;
• the date you signed up;
• your approximate country (derived from your IP address at signup — the IP address itself is not stored);
• the referring page, if your browser sends one.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track you across sites.

How we use it

We use your email address only to send closely related product updates. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Where it is stored

All data is stored and processed on Cloudflare's infrastructure (R2, D1, Workers KV, Workers AI) and on our own rendering server. Cloudflare acts as our data processor.

Your choices

Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. To access or delete your data at any time, email privacy@freeaiclippingtool.com and we will remove it within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced to the waitlist by email.
